The school year has “officially finished for me.” To many, most maybe, I am “unemployed.” Free. The world is wide open and I can do as I wish… and in some ways, yea… correct! But I also work for myself… and one who is self-employed is NEVER “unemployed”… there is ALWAYS SOMETHING!

This “canvas” “hung” in my last “school office” at the Middle School (which was really like a closet and every time the students came in they would remark how dreary it was and that it sometimes smelled badly) almost the entire year. It didn’t really “hang” because the walls were brick and painted the saddest shade of brown you can imagine, so it was just “placed” on one of those metal file cabinets, behind some papers and notebooks and other things. I don’t think one student ever noticed it. But I did… I noticed it EVERY DAY… and I actually paid attention! I DO NOT THINK I can honestly give much better advice than the words glued, somewhat haphazardly, on this small canvas… but I am going to try… and THAT is MY summer.

For the past few weeks, I have been posting two videos on YouTube every week. One is posted at 9:00 AM Central (US) on Monday and one is posted at the same time on Thursday. This summer, my goal is to continue to post two videos EVERY WEEK for the ENTIRE SUMMER… that’s it! But my secondary goal is to try and reach the 400 hours of watch time on the videos I post to be monetized by YouTube. That will be INCREDIBLE… WHEN it happens! But my tertiary goal, and this is the most important one to me, is to ACTUALLY start “helping others” with some good advice I might give…
