I watched a typical scene that might happen every day in middle schools throughout America... a heartbreaking scene, and I could do nothing to help. The only thing I could think, "Would I act differently now if I were in middle school once again?"
I recently moved from the Bakken oil field of North Dakota to the Minneapolis area. I am currently working as a paraprofessional substitute in the Minneapolis area. I am working mostly with students with special needs. This job has changed my life in ways I will never be able to properly express. All I can say is, "Thank you."
